Mus tournament

Saturday, March 4, 2023, will be our annual Mus Tournament at the Los Banos DES Hall. Registration will start at 7:00 am. The cost is $15/player. Mus playing will begin at 8:30 am. We will have donuts, coffee & juice. A traditional lunch will be served at noon. Cost is $20 per plate. A special raffle of a Bayonne Jambon

“Xingaras” cured by Bernard Etcheverry will also be held. Tickets available at registration. Contact Christopher Bengochea at (408) 568-1935 to participate in Mus.

A reminder that our Club is a nonprofit organization. Donations are now tax deductible. If you have questions, contact Victor Olano at (209) 604-4477.

Ladies’ Night and Annual Membership Meeting

Ladies’ Night will begin at 6:00 pm. Dancers will perform at 6:30 pm with dinner to follow @ 7:00 pm. Dinner tickets are $30 per plate for members and $35 per plate for non-members. Kids’ plates are $15. Tickets will be available at check-in. The Annual Membership Meeting is to commence at 8:00 pm. Voting for Board of Directors is one (1) vote per membership due to the Club’s 501(c)3 nonprofit status. Voting will be done at the check-in table. When checking in for the day or evening, please be sure to complete a ballot. Election results will be read at the Membership Meeting. We will be selling raffle tickets and 50/50 raffle tickets for $1. If you have a raffle prize that you would like to donate, please contact Ross Urrutia at (209) 777-8698. Come visit with friends and family and join the fun!

Ages 19-74 (married or family) --$50.00

Ages 75+ -- FREE

2023 Annual Picnic & NABO Convention

Our 2023 Annual Picnic and NABO Convention will be held May 19-21, 2023. A block of rooms has been set aside at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham. You can make your reservation online or for the group rate, you need to call (209)269-8787. Friday our Club will be hosting the NABO delegates meeting. Saturday there will be a Mus tournament, a Basque Chorizo

contest, and NABO activities. Saturday night there will be dinner and dancing. Our traditional picnic will be held on Sunday. Make plans to join us!

Udaleku

Udaleku (NABO Basque Culture Summer Camp) will be held in Boise, ID July 20-28, 2023. Participants must be 10-15 years old. This is a great way for our young members to join the fun, meet other kids, learn about our culture, music, and dance.
